Delivery mode for semester one 2021

Institution News

  • Monash University will provide on-campus learning for students in semester one in line with current State Government restrictions. As a result, it’s expected that all students based in Australia will be in Victoria and prepared to attend on-campus activities from the commencement of semester one.

  • If you’re currently based in Australia, there may be online options available to you, however these options cannot be guaranteed in all circumstances. Preference will be given to those students who are unable to physically attend campus due to travel and/or state border restrictions, or Federal Government COVID-19 health advice. If you require fully online options for the entire teaching period, apply for special consideration and we’ll be in touch prior to the commencement of semester one. If you apply for special consideration and your application is approved, you will remain online for the duration of the teaching period.

  • If you’re currently based overseas, you will be supported with online study options so you can progress in your course. You’ll be able to catch-up on any placements or laboratories that are essential to your accreditation requirements and learning outcomes once you return to campus. Some courses with accrediting bodies will have requirements for practical milestones - please contact your course coordinator for more information.

  • As part of the successful, phased reactivation of our campuses and our COVID Safe Plan, our November intake, summer A and B, and intensive unit students have been attending classes on campus along with staff who support these activities. We look forward to welcoming our semester one 2021 students to campus.
